  • Drillstring became stuck on a 3,200' well with significant doglegs. A TORKease spotting fluid was formulated (60 gal TORKease in 60 bbls water); the TORKease pill was spotted in the hole, leaving 20 bbls in the drillpipe for movement. In less than 45 minutes, the pipe was free and the rig was drilling ahead.

Only TORKease remains stable and decreases torque in our geothermal slim-hole, diamond coring operations where existing formation temperatures
exceed 500°F
